Dato' Hasnur appointed PIARC TED COM member |

KUALA LUMPUR, 09 Apr - The Paris-based World Road Association (PIARC) via a letter on 12 March 2009 announced the appointment of Protasco Bhd Executive Chairman- cum- HCM Engineering Bhd Managing Director, Dato’ Ir Hasnur Rabiain Ismail, as a member of its Commission on Technological Exchanges & Development (TED Com).
The appointment will run from 2009 – 2012. It was made by the PIARC Executive Committee at its meeting on 4 March 2009 in Mexico City. Established in 1909, PIARC brings together the road administrations of 117 governments with membership - individuals, companies, authorities and organizations--in over 140 countries.
Chaired by Dato’ Sri Prof Ir Dr Judin Abd Karim, Director General, Public Works Department, Malaysia, the Commission will hold its first meeting in Kuala Lumpur from 28-29 April 2009.
