July - The State Government of Terengganu awarded HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd’s newly-incorporated subsidiary, Permint Granite – HCM Sdn Bhd, a seven-year concession for routine and periodic maintenance of State roads in Terengganu. It will run from this year until 2016.

HCM holds 70% stake in the venture while the balance is held by Permint Granite.

Its contract sum for the initial two years in respect of routine maintenance shall be RM37,995,840. The subsequent contract sum after the first two years shall be reviewed on a bi-yearly basis.

With a pioneer team headed by former Pahang Roadcare Regional Manager, En Md Juhari Ismail, the TSRM team has been operating from an office in Padang Air, Kuala Terengganu.
