 By 2 September 2010, HCM Engineering’s ’s Slope Repair and Strengthening Works at Taman Bukit Mewah, Bukit Antarabangsa will come to a close.
Project Manager En. Noor Hasnan Hamzah is happy that it is completed on schedule. He noted that there were significant challenges that were successfully managed and valuable lessons captured for future reference.
The RM10.3 million project was awarded by Malaysia’s Public Works Department following the December 6, 2008 landslide which destroyed 14 bungalows and claimed five lives. It consists of earthworks, soil nailing, micropile and retaining wall as well as pavement works comprising road reconstruction, drain and guardrail installation.
